Welcome Back! Why Your Career Management Matters Now!

Welcome back to a new semester! I hope you had a wonderful break. As you jump back into the swing of things, here are some key career-related items to keep top-of-mind:

  • Career Services Center wants to partner with you as you navigate your career management journey. Career management does not start when you are applying for jobs, rather it is a process that begins the second you ask yourself – what do I want to do? Career coaches are here to assist you along this journey no matter where you are at. Look for regular career content that will help you in your journey, and engage in coaching and workshops to further your work.
  • It’s on-campus recruiting season: The start of the semester is filled with career events. If you are looking for internships or full-time opportunities, this time is key for connecting with employers who want to hire you – a W. P. Carey Business student. It’s important to pay close attention to your email, as we will be sending out event announcements. Don’t miss out!
  • Login to Handshake regularly: Handshake is a top resource for you no matter where you are in your career management journey. Through Handshake, you can find and attend events that connect you with employers, see internship and full-time opportunities tailored to you, schedule appointments with me, and much more!
