The position is a hybrid role based in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with the opportunity to work a few days from home per week.
Your role:
This is a challenging opportunity to contribute to a large international treasury department with responsibilities that examine and seek to improve every aspect of treasury from Capital Markets and FX to bank account management and cash forecasting. Tackling both technical and operational challenges, success in this role will require both strong analytical capabilities as well as the ability to work cross functionally and communicate treasury concepts to senior treasury leadership.
- Assist process optimization initiatives among common treasury, finance, and accounting practices with a special focus on building new models and leveraging the Kyriba TMS.
- Assist in oversight of global hedging programs to mitigate exposure to FX and interest rate risk. Evaluate and assist in implementing new hedging strategies.
- Maintain and enhance the global cost of debt model.
- Enhance wallet-share visibility by analyzing FX transaction history, cash positioning, and bank account structure.
- Work with cross functional teams including accounts payable, accounting, legal, and tax to implement new treasury processes.
- Track all transformation initiatives and articulate their progress to senior treasury leadership.
- Thoroughly understand all treasury policies and respond to related business queries.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, data science/engineer or related discipline with strong interest in finance. MBA, master’s degree or CFE preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in a global treasury function or related banking experience.
- At least one of: 1) thorough understanding of foreign exchange products, concepts, and hedging or 2) thorough understanding of global liquidity management concepts and best practices (notional and physical cash pooling, in-house-banking, and related IT systems).
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel is required; programming skills (Python or similar) a bonus.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with unstructured problems.
- Experience with treasury management systems and related IT systems such as such as Kyriba and Bloomberg.
- Skilled in preparing presentations, executive summaries, and memos to senior management; possess solid communication skills; comfortable and credible speaking in front of management.
- Team player and able to work collaboratively within a flat team structure, ability to lead internal and external teams when necessary, willing to challenge status quo, have a can-do attitude, be proactive and take ownership, be comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent interpersonal skills with all levels.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $61,400.00 – $98,200.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
