Hello! You are invited to join us for a fun, interactive, informative conversation!

Chevron explores for, produces and transports crude oil and natural gas; refines, markets and distributes transportation fuels and lubricants; manufactures and sells petrochemicals and additives; generates power; and develops and deploys technologies that enhance business value in every aspect of the company’s operations. Chevron is based in San Ramon, Calif. More information about Chevron is available at www.chevron.com.
Procurement/Supply Chain Overview:
Chevron spends billions of dollars annually on goods and services. The Procurement/Supply Chain Management (P/SCM) function works in partnership to strategically leverage and manage this spend with a focus on operational excellence and the total cost of ownership represented in the supply chain.
The P/SCM function collaborates within Chevron and across the companies we work to deliver goods and services to Chevron safely, reliably, and at a competitive cost. The function’s strategic processes include: Category Management, Contracting, Strategic Sourcing, National & Local Content, Market Intelligence, Procurement Operations and Supplier Diversity/Local Content.
Our mission is to create a competitive differentiation for Chevron by delivering optimal P/SCM solutions – the right materials and services, in the right place, at the right time, at the right cost.
Procurement/Supply Chain Interns:
Interns will gain a better understanding of Chevron’s business and learn more
about its people and culture. This program will provide the participants with a
variety of unique experiences that will serve to develop and broaden critical
skill sets and competencies as they progress in their development towards leadership roles within the organization.
P/SCM interns will be asked to complete a variety of tasks and may work on several projects simultaneously. The position conducts various supply chain analyses, internal and external market research studies, as well as data and process analysis for Procurement management and cross-operating company procurement teams. Frequent interaction with leadership, senior managers, current program members, and program alumni can be expected.
Assignments include supporting Category Management, Contracting, Procurement Operations and other P/SCM activities that support the Technology, Projects & Services, Upstream & Gas, or Downstream, Chemicals & Shared Services organizations. Assignments are driven by organizational and business needs.
