As an Entry-level EAS Digital Technology Developer, you will join Cognizant’s Enterprise Applications Services (EAS), comprised of 9 practices with 500+ customers worldwide, 19,000 associates globally, and 25+ alliances with major vendors in the enterprise application space. EAS has customers across the globe in multiple industry sectors.
Entry-level EAS Digital Technology Developers will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions. Your first assignment could involve any combination of the following – application development, maintenance, testing, business requirements gathering, and analysis or project management support.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferred majors include: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, with technical proficiency
- Java, .NET, CRM, CIM (communications information management), SAP, Oracle (ERP implementations – e.g. FMW, EBS, EPM), Salesforce, PEGA, cloud services (e.g. AWS)
- Self-motivated individuals with strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the passion and appetite to learn newer technologies
- Hands-on demonstrable development experience in Python, JAVA, .Net (C#), Hadoop, C++, or equivalent programming languages
- Actively participate in developing complex applications involving cutting edge technology and frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams
Due to the nature of this position Cognizant cannot provide sponsorship for U.S. work authorization (including participation in a CPT/OPT program) for this role.
New hires will be deployed to Cognizant office(s) in Dallas-TX or Phoenix-AZ where you will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions. Applicants must be willing to relocate to one of the aforementioned major geographic areas. While we will attempt to honor candidate location preferences, business need and position availability will determine final location assignment.
New hires will largely start in 3 cohorts; January, June, or August 2022. While we will attempt to honor candidate summer start date preferences, business need and position availability will determine final start date assignment of June or August. Exact summer start dates will be communicated with enough time for you to plan effectively.
