CVS Caremark offers a comprehensive internship program designed to engage students, impart valuable skills, and offer insight into a potential career path with a Fortune 13 company. During the 10 week engagement interns will be in a supportive learning environment contributing both independently and on a team against key department initiatives. About this business area: Internal Audit provides independent assurance to Management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, identifying risks and assessing internal controls in an effort to help management achieve its strategic objectives and overall purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
You will work on:
Audit projects alongside a team of experienced auditors, gaining exposure to the various components of the audit lifecycle including:
•Meeting with colleagues throughout the enterprise to understand business processes under audit;
•Performing and documenting audit activities in accordance with professional standards and CVS’s Audit Methodology;
•Executing testing as defined by the audit team and creating workpaper documentation
•Meet educational requirements (see education section)
•Ability to work full time for the duration of the 10 week internship program

•Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Internship or work experience in related field such as business or healthcare
•Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
•Be currently pursuing a Bachelors degree
•Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2022 and August 2023
•Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position. Examples include: traditional majors relevant to the audit function, such as Business Administration (Finance, Accounting), Data and Information Technology (Data Analytics/Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems); however, students in other majors that can demonstrate the qualifications noted above are also encouraged to apply.
