As the VP of the Regional Distribution Center, you will have the responsibilities of developing strategies and alignment of Supply Chain Operations for a Regional distribution warehouse within HCA US and UK operations covering multiple divisions.
Duties also include developing long term strategic plans, directing, implementing, training and measuring all current and future areas of the Regional Distribution Center (RDC). Development of business case validations, project plans, operational tools, and the implementation of all current and future project requests related to fulfillment, distribution, and logistics operations at the RDC. This position is additionally responsible for maintaining and improving the current freight management program, safety programs, warehouse security, warehouse facility and infrastructure, capital planning and budgeting, and business continuity (disaster preparedness) for the RDC. Implementation and adherence to policies and procedures as well as working with facility personnel to develop and test new best practices for additions or modifications to the operating model. In addition, this position will be responsible for ongoing development and reengineering of future state supply chain strategies for all areas of responsibility to include warehouse format, distribution network analysis, and warehouse management and transportation-management systems development and integration. This position is also responsible for the development and execution of formal communications and training programs for supply chain operations within all areas of responsibility.
