Our Contracts Logistics Center is seeking summer interns to join the Florence, SC team. The interns will be introduced to Otis processes and continuous improvement methodology. Interns will be assigned projects related to core functions that are customer focused, result-oriented, and performance driven which will require teamwork, research and problem-solving skills. This includes creation of turnback database and weekly reporting that will provide exposure to factory forecasting and lad monitoring processes. In addition, the interns will assist with the development of a performance dashboard and converting database progress tracking applications into web applications.
These are full-time, paid summer internships, typically ranging from 10-12 weeks. Throughout your internship, we provide continuous training and performance feedback to ensure you build the necessary skills to succeed.
Education / Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Systems, Project Management or other Information Technology concentrations
- High Computer literacy, demonstrated MS Office skills (O365 is a plus)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills
- Proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Must be able to complete projects with supervision. Ability to take ownership and ask for help when needed
