The Alliance of Indigenous Peoples (AIP), originally the American Indian Council, is a coalition/student organization that aims to advocate for and amplify the Indigenous student voice (on-campus and online) at Arizona State University (ASU). This coalition is one of seven coalitions at ASU that make up the Council of Coalitions (also known as the COC) who represent marginalized and minoritized communities, and each of these coalitions follow the student-led, staff-supported model. The Alliance of Indigenous Peoples facilitates and supports all American Indian organizations on campus. Currently, there are twelve American Indian organizations. The student organizations include: Alpha Pi Omega Sorority, Inc. (APiO), American Indian Graduate Student Association (AIGSA), American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), American Indian Student Workers Association (AISWA), Barrett Indigenous Culture Association (BICA), Construction In Indian Country Student Organization (CIICSO), Mr. and Miss Indian Arizona State University Royal Court, Nations Movement, Native American Business Organization (NABO), Native American Law Students Association (NALSA), Native Americans for Academics, Success and Unity (NAASU), and One Native Nation (ONN).
