Alison Moser

Alison Moser is a curriculum coordinator who works on the career management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with undergraduate students. Alison believes in the importance of designing curriculum that will further students’ prior knowledge regarding career development, as well as foster students’ understanding of the importance of a solid foundational skill set in career instruction. Alison has over 21 years of experience working in the education field, including preparing and implementing specially designed instruction for students of various learning abilities and backgrounds. Ann Moran

Director of Employer Engagement

Ann Amico Moran is the Director of Employer Engagement at the W. P. Carey School of Business, where she builds strategic partnerships that connect our business talent with leading employers. Drawing on extensive experience in higher education, talent acquisition and business development, Ann is known for turning connections into opportunities and strategies into measurable impact. A collaborative leader and relationship builder, she is passionate about aligning organizational need with student career success to drive impact for both employers and the W.P. Carey community. Ann holds the SHRM-SCP certification, an undergraduate degree in Organizational Communications and Psychology from Western Michigan University and a Master’s in Education, College Student Personnel, from Loyola University of Chicago.

Anthony Luis

Career Coach: Finance and applied technology

Anthony Luis is a career coach on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business. He supports students in the Master of Finance program as well as the undergraduate Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, Human Resources, Applied Technology, and Agribusiness degree programs. Anthony is passionate about helping students discover and articulate their unique strengths so that they are empowered to confidently step into their job search with their best foot forward.

In addition to coaching at W.P. Carey, Anthony is an active Nasdaq and S&P 500 futures trader where he leverages both personal and proprietary capital. Anthony earned a Master of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Science in agriculture education from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He also earned a Master of Science in organization development from Queens University of Charlotte (North Carolina) where he also completed the Coaching Certificate program.

April Patten

Content Consultant

April Patten is the Content Consultant for the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business.

After eight years as a coach and manager within the team, April leverages her content expertise to extend our Where Business is Personal® mission to reach over 20,000 business students on an annual basis via online and on-demand content as well as comprehensive project management. As content consultant, April’s role is pivotal to ensure students across all W. P. Carey programs have access to curated content that meets their specific needs and interests.

In addition to her 20 years of comprehensive experience in career management, April is a Certified Career Management Coach, University Career Coach, MBA Career Coach, Certified Professional Resume Writer, Certified Civil Treatment Facilitator, and is Dare to Lead trained.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in management and international studies from CMU, an Master of Education in human relations from NAU, and a Certificate of Global Advocacy from ASU.

Bri Miloz-Pabst

Associate Director, Curriculum

Brianna (Bri) Miloz-Pabst is the Associate Director of Curriculum Design on the career management team at W. P. Carey School of Business. Bri knows the importance of bringing individuals together around the shared vision of revolutionizing career education. She leverages her unique perspective to drive a strategy for curriculum that delivers student engagement, retention, and employer satisfaction with a competitive design approach. With several years of experience in higher education, Bri has worked in residence life, TRIO programs, diversity and inclusion, student athlete success, student support services (first generation college students) and national scholarship advisement. She began her educational journey at Northern Arizona University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in business marketing and a Bachelor of Science in business management in 2017, followed by a Master of Arts in higher education and student affairs from the University of Connecticut in 2019.

Christine De La Cerda

Assistant Director, Business Career Services

Christine De La Cerda is an assistant director in on the career management team in the W. P. Carey School of Business. She is a career coach for the Full-time MBA Marketing, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Information Management students. Christine knows the value of finding a career path that brings passion and excitement and continually helps an individual grow. This value drives her passion for connecting students with their perfect landing spot where they will thrive. She desires to see that lightbulb moment when every click for the person she works with that career search.

Christine has worked at Arizona State University for over nine years in a few different roles, but none more fulfilling as the career space and supporting the Full-time MBA students. She is an ASU alumna working toward her Master of Arts in communication.

Christine received a fantastic honor in 2022 when she received a Graduate College Award of Excellence: Supporting Student Success. She desires always to help students feel welcome and at home while pursuing their dreams. She is trained as an Emerging Supervisor, Dares to Lead and Career Launch, and has a Training Certificate from the Association for Talent Development.

Claudia Enriquez

Assistant Director, Alumni Career Coaching

Claudia Enriquez is an assistant director on the career management team, specifically partnering with W. P. Carey School of Business alumni. She has twelve years of experience in higher education, working with domestic and international students and alumni in English and Spanish. She is committed to partnering with alumni on their career management journeys by developing strategies, required skills, experiences, and tools to pursue their professional objectives. Claudia has vast global acumen, having worked in management in four different countries . She is recently focused on creating and executing the strategy of delivering a career management program to this population. German Aguilar Tinajero

Career Coach: Marketing and communications

Germán is a career coach on the career management team at the W.P. Carey School of Business. He supports students in the marketing, business communications, sports business, and entrepreneurship undergraduate degree programs, as well as, the Master of Real Estate Development, Master of Science in marketing, and Master of Science in entrepreneurship and innovation graduate programs. As a career coach, Germán empowers students to navigate their career management through authentic relationship building, a strengths-based lens, and by championing authenticity. Germán has served higher education students in a career services capacity for several years at private liberal arts colleges, community colleges, and public four-year institutions in Southern California. As a scholar-practitioner, Germán also has published research on alternative educational research methods and the post-baccalaureate success of undocumented students. Germán holds a Bachelor of Arts in American literature and culture, Chicana/o studies, and education studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Master of Arts in education with an emphasis in social and cultural analysis of education from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). Jack Balon

Assistant Director, Employer Engagement

Jack Balon is a results-driven professional with a passion for forging meaningful connections between organizations and talented job seekers.

Currently, Jack is an assistant director on the employer engagement at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. In this role, Jack manages a diverse portfolio of 250+ companies spanning various industries. His responsibilities include facilitating strategic relationships, helping organizations refine their hiring strategies, and leveraging data analysis to identify emerging industry trends. Jack prides himself on exceptional stakeholder management skills, which have led to increased collaboration and mutually beneficial outcomes.

Before his academic tenure, Jack honed his skills at Yelp Inc. as a Franchise Account Executive, consistently exceeding sales quotas, analyzing key data, and strengthening corporate relationships. Jack’s results-oriented approach led to an increase in customer acquisition and lifetime value during his tenure at Yelp Inc.

Jack holds a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in government and policy and a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in professional writing, both earned with honors distinctions from Grand Canyon University. Jenni Hailer

Curriculum Coordinator

Jenni Hailer is a curriculum coordinator on the career management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, designated to work with the MBA and specialized master’s population. Joseph Kimes

Executive Director, W. P. Carey Career Services Center

Joey Kimes is the Executive Director for the W. P. Carey Career Services Center, overseeing the career management, employer engagement, and operations teams while providing strategic direction to all career initiatives. Joey knows the importance of ensuring market-alignment of all career programming—both student- and employer-oriented—so high-quality connections can be made between employers and candidates. He believes that students identifying directed career goals and cultivating an action-oriented process to meet those goals, with a focus on proactive actions that drive toward career-focused results for students, allow for them to go-to market competitive and highlight the relevancy of their experiences with the skills firms are seeking. While at W. P. Carey, Joey has worked on standardizing a 12-month onboarding journey for new career coaches, developing and launching data and outcome-focused annual reporting, and designing a program to cultivate MBA-level, career-ready business professionals; he has, also, supported the initial development of the Career Blueprint and Career Management Model. Joey is a Gallup Certified Strengths coach and holds an MBA from the Heider College of Business at Creighton University, a Master of Science in student affairs in higher education from Colorado State University, and Bachelor of Arts in journalism and psychology from Marquette University.

Kama Chavis

Career Coach: Finance and applied technology

Kama Chavis is a career coach on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, working directly with students in the Master of Finance program and undergraduate Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, Human Resources, Applied Technology, and Agribusiness degree programs. Kama has a passion for helping others identify their talents with a goal to support them on their journey towards their potential.

She has experience in human resources in supply chain/logistics, staffing and health care industries as well as professional experience in higher education, non-profit (arts), performing arts (arts education), and the music industry.

Kama holds a Masters of Arts in administration and supervision (educator/trainer) and a Bachelors of Arts in speech communication from Montclair State University. She also has completed course work towards a Masters in music business from New York University.

Kathryn (Bradley) Linde

Kathryn Bradley Linde is a communications manager on the operations team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, working directly with all industry portfolios. Kathryn believes that education should reach as many people as possible, and that good communication is the key to making that reach possible. Kathryn has spent most of her career in higher education marketing. She has supported strategic initiatives across multiple academic units, led cross-functional campaigns that elevated institutional visibility, and leveraged data and analytics to optimize engagement and drive measurable results. Lurissa Brown

Associate Director, International Initiatives

Lurissa Brown serves as an associate director on the career management at the W. P. Carey School of Business. In this role, she is committed to enhancing the career management experience for international students by providing them with the tools and resources needed to thrive in competitive job markets. Lurissa leads career coaches within the analytics and administration portfolios, offering strategic guidance to effectively support portfolios with a high concentration of international students. She also advises internal and external stakeholders, including employers, on immigration-related matters and spearheads initiatives aimed at fostering the success of international students. Before joining W. P. Carey, Lurissa was a Designated School Official (DSO) at ASU’s International Students and Scholars Center. During her five-year tenure, she guided international students in maintaining compliance with immigration regulations, gaining invaluable expertise. Today, she leverages this experience to help students optimize their global business skills and confidently navigate their career journeys. Originally from Panama City, Panama, Lurissa brings a global perspective to her work and continuously seeks opportunities to positively impact all students. Lurissa holds a master’s in public administration and a B.S. in Spanish with a certificate in translation, both from Arizona State University.

Margaret Odhner

Associate Director, MBA & Working Professionals

Margaret Odhner is an associate director on the career management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically leading the MBA student-facing team. Margaret has experience partnering with students at all educational levels, but most specifically has expertise working with those re-engaging in their career management process as they develop their new job-search strategy, conduct market research, and prepare for their next roles. Margaret believes that the work she does to prepare students in their career decision making impacts the actions they take for the next steps in their professional career. Margaret is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Associate Counselor and in addition to working at W. P. Carey for the past 5.5 years, has experience in the Healthcare industry focused on client relationships and managing documentation compliance for state funded programs. Margaret received her Bachelor of Science in psychology and family and human development from the University of Arizona and Masters of Counseling from Arizona State University.

Mark Smith

Mark Smith is the Manager of Economic and Business Development, West Coast at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Mitch Tybroski

Director, Operations

Mitch Tybroski is the Director of the Operations in the W. P. Carey Career Services Center. In his role, Mitch oversees the daily and functional operations within the center. He is also tasked with developing consistent process and strategy for the larger team that will ultimately support the success of all W. P. Carey students. His professional experience includes work within collegiate athletic operations, non-profit management, and most recently six plus years within Educational Outreach and Student Services at ASU. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in sports and exercise science from West Texas A&M, a Master of Science in sport management from West Texas A&M, and a Doctorate of Education in leadership and innovation from Arizona State University.

Octavio Duarte

Assistant Director, Corporate Alumni Engagement

Octavio Duarte is an assistant director on the employer engagement team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, focusing on corporate alumni engagement. He joined the career management team as a career coach in 2022, partnering with full-time MBA students along with Professional MBA students in the Evening, Online, and Executive programs. Octavio believes colleges and universities are responsible for stewarding knowledge and mentoring future generations. Olivia Del Viscio

Olivia Del Viscio is a sr. associate director on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business where she leads the Bachelor of Science & Specialized Master’s team. She joined Career Management in 2021 as a career coach, partnering with undergraduate Business Sustainability and Human Resources student populations. Olivia is a positive, service-oriented leader who strives to support all students, including those hailing from underrepresented backgrounds and/or identities. She believes that creating a collaborative coaching environment will ultimately help students to reach their career goals. Prior to joining W. P. Carey, Olivia worked in education abroad with a focus in program development and admissions. Driven by her professional and personal dedication in building inclusive spaces in higher education, Olivia served in a variety of volunteer roles for organizations such as The Forum for Education Abroad and the National Association for Study Abroad, and currently sits on the W. Rachel Dieter

Associate Director, Employer Engagement

Rachel Dieter is an associate director on the Employer Engagement team at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Rachel knows how important it is for organizations to not only have a strong talent pipeline, but have opportunities to connect with that pipeline throughout the recruiting process. She is energized by working with organizations to identify strategies for success in their approach to recruiting. Rachel has experience in many functions of career services, including career coaching and programming, event planning and management, career outcome collection, and building and maintaining relationships with employers in order to meet their hiring goals. She is certified in the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Inventory. Samantha Hill

Program Manager

Samantha Hill is a program manager on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Samantha has previously worked with students in the policy and professional services portfolio as they navigate their career goals. Samantha believes in the potential of each student and strives to guide them as they realize how their unique skills help foster their personal and professional growth.

Samantha has over a decade of teaching experience in the primary public education setting, working specifically with students with learning and intellectual disabilities. She thrived on using the students’ strengths to help them find success in their general education classrooms. Samuel Edgeston

Assistant Director, Business Career Services

Samuel Edgeston is an assistant director on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with full-time MBA students. Samuel has over 17 years of experience in career development and business leadership, organizational development, and academia. He has held various leadership roles in Arizona and Tennessee universities. Samuel has also provided services as a Licensed Professional Coach-Counselor, Board Certified Business Coach, and a professional business mediator. In addition to teaching, he has served as an executive, corporate, leadership, and business coach and consultant in Arizona. Sarah Hernandez Byrne

Sarah Hernandez Byrne is an assistant director on the Employer Engagement team at the W. P. Carey School Career Services Center. Carey, Sarah worked as an assistant director in Professional Education Services at the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation and was a secondary English teacher. Sarah Romero

Curriculum Coordinator

Sarah Romero is a curriculum coordinator on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business with a specific focus to assist with the design and administration of the Career Navigation Program for all undergraduate students. Sarah has close to 6 years’ experience working within the Higher Education sector to include the implementation and execution of Grants + Contracts to facilitate research, as well as, the transfer initiative of MyPath2ASU™. Sarah most recently transitioned to our team after two years of advising W.P. Carey students majoring in Supply Chain Management, Tourism, and Communication. Sebastian Solis Felix

Career Coach: Marketing and communications

Sebastian Solis Felix is a career coach on the career management team at W. P. Suzanne Sanchez

Sr. Assistant Director, Business Career Services

Suzanne Sanchez is a sr. assistant director on the career management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with full-time MBA students studying Supply Chain. Suzanne believes in supporting her students by coaching them to develop key skills and confidence so it turns into actionable success. With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Thelma brings a dynamic and multifaceted background spanning business, event, and retail management. She holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in marketing, and two graduate certificates in event management and leadership.

Trine Nelson

Director, Career Management

Triné Nelson is the Director of Career Management at the W. P. Carey School of Business, with a specific focus on supporting the teams serving our undergraduate, specialized masters, and MBA students. In her time at W. P. Carey, Triné was instrumental in mapping out the undergraduate journey to implement a targeted series of career courses to increase the career capabilities of students as they prepare to enter the market. She believes that designing foundational career content will enhance students’ professional development and allow career coaches to execute a tailored program for their portfolios of students. Triné has almost 20 years’ experience in career services and was awarded the Certified Professional Resume Writer designation from the Professional Association of Resume Writers. Triné holds a Bachelor of Science in family and human development from Utah State University and an Master of Education in learning design and technologies from Arizona State University.

Yavel Morris

Career Coach: Analytics and administration

Yavel Morris is a career coach on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Yavel partners with undergraduate students in the Business Data Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Undecided, Exploratory, Business Administration as well as the graduate students in the Masters of Business Analytics, Masters of Information System Management, Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence in Business programs. Yavel has a deep commitment to helping students succeed by providing them with the strategies, skills, experiences, and tools they need to achieve their goals.

With a diverse background in higher education, including roles as a professor, area coordinator, academic advisor, and retention coordinator, Yavel has consistently made a positive impact on students’ lives. This dedication not only helps students achieve success but also empowers them to surpass their own expectations and stand out professionally. Yavel, also holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Masters in Arts in general psychology from Fayetteville State University.
