Sharon Irwin-Foulon leads the Career Management and Employer Engagement team at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Sharon’s innovative program design, client management and service operations experience has been at some of the world’s top business schools and spans over 20 years as both a leader and consultant. As an experienced change leader to both public and private sector organizations, her reputation has been built on helping to shape strategic people and culture initiatives using executive coaching, talent positioning, and communications that influence bottom-line revenue and donation generation. A strategic and innovative senior leader, Sharon brings a broad spectrum of executive skills and proven success collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups across internal, external, and cross-system platforms to drive results and outcomes.
Alyssa Pereira

Alyssa Pereira is a Career Coach on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with Marketing and Management students. Alyssa is committed to providing individualized support that effectively meets the unique needs of students and aids in the achievement of their personal career goals. She believes in empowering students to be key partners in their own career management journey, so that upon graduating they feel confident in their next steps and equipped with the necessary skills to succeed. Alyssa has had the pleasure of working with various student populations throughout her time in higher education, including international students, first-generation college students, student-athletes, and Fraternity and Sorority Life members. Additionally, her professional background includes work in sports broadcast media, content strategy and development, social media management, freelance photography, and has previously founded a podcast and blog. Alyssa holds a B.S. in Strategic Communication and International Studies from North Dakota State University and a M.Ed. in Student Development Administration from Seattle University.
Anthony Cortright
Senior Assistant Director, Employer Engagement

Toni Cortright is a Senior Assistant Director on the Employer Engagement team at W. P. Carey School of Business, working with employers across the Technology industries including Computer Networking, Electronic & Computer Hardware, Internet, Software, and Telecommunications. He served for more than 20 years as a Telecommunications Operations Chief in the United States military, educating and leading soldiers, earning three Bronze Stars for efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. After retiring from military service in 2015, he changed careers to focus his leadership skills on the business of talent. His role as a recruiter helped Veterans, and College students start new careers at the two Fortune 500 companies he was a part of. At W. P. Carey, Toni works directly with firms to help them assess, plan, and execute the most effective, innovative and strategic ways to find the talent they need. He is a pathfinder and a team player who loves connecting and building relationships with employers and students. Toni holds a B.S. in Business Administration and MBA from the University of Phoenix.
April Patten
Content Consultant

April Patten is the Content Consultant for the Career Management and Employer Engagement team at the W. P. Carey School of Business. After eight years as a coach and manager within the team, April leverages her content expertise to extend our Business is Personal mission to reach over 15,000 business students on an annual basis via online, on-demand content and comprehensive project management. As Content Consultant, April’s role is pivotal to ensure students across all W. P. Carey programs have access to curated content that meets their specific needs and interests. In addition to her 17 years in career management, April is a Certified Career Management Coach, University Career Coach, MBA Career Coach, Professional Resume Writer, Certified Civil Treatment Facilitator, and is Dare to Lead Trained. She holds a B.B.A. in Management and International Studies from CMU, an M.Ed. in Human Relations from NAU, and a Certificate of Global Advocacy from ASU.

Career Coach: Communication

Brianna (Bri) Miloz is a Career Coach on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with undergraduate students in Communication. Bri strives to assist students in embracing their individualism, determining their strengths, and discovering career happiness through personal and professional development. She encourages students to be confident in the unique skill sets they possess and utilize them to steward their own desired career journey. With several years of experience in higher education, Bri has worked in residence life, TRIO programs, diversity and inclusion, student athlete success, student support services (first generation college students) and national scholarship advisement. She began her educational journey at Northern Arizona University, where she obtained a B.S. in Business Marketing and a B.S. in Business Management in 2017, followed by a M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut in 2019.

Claudia Enriquez is a Career Coach on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically collaborating with undergraduate students. She has ten years of experience working with both domestic and international students, in English and Spanish, and is committed to partnering with students on their career management journey through the development of required skills, experiences and strategies to pursue their professional objectives. Claudia has vast global experience, having worked in four different countries in management fields, and has been recently focused on executing the strategy of delivering our career management program to various portfolios of majors. Claudia holds a B.S. in Business Administration from ITAM, in Mexico, and a MBA from the University of Arizona.

Dakota Haight is a Recruiting and Logistics Coordinator on the Career Operations team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, working with all industry portfolios. Dakota supports the employer and student facing teams in navigating the university landscape, planning engagement opportunities, and executing on-campus and virtual recruiting activities. Prior to joining W.P. Carey, Dakota worked in finance and academics in higher education. Dakota holds a B.S. in Sport Management from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Elizabeth Tirkas
Associate Director, Undergraduate Programs

Elizabeth Tirkas is an Associate Director on the Career Management team for the W. P. Carey School of Business, where she leads the undergraduate student-facing team that specializes with the Bachelor of Arts Business student portfolios. She begun working with Career Management in 2016, where she specifically partnered with undergraduate Accountancy, Computer Information Systems, and Business Data Analytics students. Elizabeth has seen first-hand how students that engage in the career management process can benefit in their development, accomplishing their goals, and ultimately strong employment opportunities. She works closely with employers to determine market needs and trends, which she then shares with her students to help them develop their career strategy. Elizabeth fully invests in the career development of the students and career professionals that she works with. She has over 10 years of experience in higher education, everything from academic advising, to service-learning curriculum development, to international programs, to study abroad, and to Fraternity and Sorority Life. She sees all of these experiences coming together to be able to aid students in their development and connect with their career journey. Elizabeth holds a B.A in Journalism from the University of Wyoming, and a M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University.

Jeff Phillips is a Career Coach on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with undergraduate and graduate students studying Finance, Financial Planning, Economics, and Real Estate Development. He is committed to working collaboratively with Carey students to help equip them with a powerful career management skill set and, ultimately, to fully realize their career goals. Jeff has held a variety of finance positions in the business, nonprofit, and public sectors and has also tackled the roles of graduate admissions coach, teacher, and entrepreneur. He is a Certified Career Coach and holds a B.B.A. (Finance) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School, and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School.

Director, Career Management

Joey Kimes is an Associate Director on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, overseeing the MBA coaching team, and partnering with MBA students, focusing on Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance and Consulting. Joey knows the importance of students identifying directed career goals and cultivating an action-oriented process to meet those goals, with a focus on proactive actions that drive toward career-focused results for students. While at W. P. Carey, Joey has worked on designing a program to cultivate MBA-level, career-ready business professionals; he has, also, supported technology process implementation projects. Joey is a Gallup Certified Strengths coach and holds an MBA from the Heider College of Business at Creighton University, a M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University, and B.A. degrees in Journalism and Psychology from Marquette University.
Kris Adams
Career Coach: Sports Business & Tourism

Kris Adams is a Career Coach on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with undergraduate students in Sports Business and Tourism. Kris has worked at all levels of sport, from Collegiate Ticket Sales, to apparel, professional sports, and Higher Education, and knows the multiple pathways to top positions in this field. Kris understands the importance of networking in the sports and tourism industries, and encourages all students to go after their goals with maximum effort to ultimately reach the dream destination. Kris holds a B.S. in Sport Management from Ohio Dominican University, where he was a student-athlete, and a Master of Sports Administration from Ohio University.

Assistant Director, Operations

Laura Kalb is an Assistant Director on the Operations team at W. P. Carey School of Business. Over the last five years, Laura provided coaching in career management and training and development, in addition to building relationships with individuals in talent acquisition and vendor management. As a leader in a regional professional association and a key member on multiple task forces, she garnered support across business units and cross-functional teams to innovate and execute new initiatives. Laura is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, utilizing her strengths to assist individuals in channeling their talents for success in their careers and business. Laura holds a B.A. in Sociology from Trinity University, and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
Leah Mills
Director, Employer Engagement & Operations

Leah Mills is the Director of Employer Engagement and Operations, working with employers across the Professional Services industries including Accounting, Consulting, Human Resources and Marketing, Advertising, & Public Relations. Her role supports the development of recruitment and engagement strategies to effectively connect employers with top talent at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Leah believes that delivering exceptional client experiences by creating seamless ways to access talent, navigate the university recruiting ecosystem, and execute high-value engagements are the keys to fostering sustainable and successful partnerships. Within the Career Management and Employer Engagement unit, she has supported on-campus recruiting execution, technology system implementation and management, and the enhancement of recruiting partnerships during her tenure. Prior to joining W. P. Carey, Leah worked in intercollegiate athletics and holds a B.S. in Sport Management and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and a M. Ed. in Sport Administration from the University of Minnesota.
Lurissa Brown
Career Coach: Accounting

Lurissa Brown is a Career Coach on the Career Management Team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, working directly with students in the Master of Science in Accountancy and Taxation programs and Undergraduate Accountancy. Prior to working at W. P. Carey, Lurissa was a Designated School Official (DSO) at ASU’s International Students and Scholars Center, advising international students for over five years on maintaining compliance with immigration regulations. Currently, she leverages her experience advising students on optimizing their global business skills to guide them through their career journey. Lurissa was born in Panama City, Panama, and always looks for new opportunities to make a positive impact on all students. She enhances the student experience through a balance of career coaching and networking strategies, which strengthens their competitiveness in the job market and promotes the W. P. Carey brand. Lurissa holds a B.S. in Spanish with a Certificate in Translation and an M.A. in Public Administration from Arizona State University.
Margaret Odhner
Associate Director, MBA Programs

Margaret Odhner is an Associate Director on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically leading the MBA student-facing team. Margaret has experience partnering with students at all educational levels, but most specifically has expertise working with those re-engaging in their career management process as they develop their new job-search strategy, conduct market research, and prepare for their next roles. Margaret believes that the work she does to prepare students in their career decision making impacts the actions they take for the next steps in their professional career. Margaret is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Associate Counselor and in addition to working at W. P. Carey for the past 5.5 years, has experience in the Healthcare industry focused on client relationships and managing documentation compliance for state funded programs. Margaret received her B.S. in Psychology and Family and Human Development from the University of Arizona and Masters of Counseling from Arizona State University.
Michael Sanders
Assistant Director, Employer Engagement

Mike Sanders is an Assistant Director on the Employer Engagement team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, working with employers across the finance industries including Commercial Banking & Credit, Construction, Insurance, Investment/Portfolio Management, Investment Banking, and Real Estate. He brings a high level of experience and understanding of the corporate landscape through years as a commercial banker, and has adapted his consultative approach in the private sector to his role at ASU. Mike has also served in a student-facing role on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School and has merged his corporate knowledge with his understanding of student interests to aid employers recruiting at the W. P. Carey to access the right students for their talent needs. Mike holds a B.A. in English from Arizona State University, and an M.A. in Technical and Professional Writing from Northern Arizona University.
Mickie Lara
Program Manager, Alumni and Executive Career Management

Mickie Lara is a Program Manager on the Career Management team, leading all things career for our working professionals in the Executive MBA (EMBA) and alumni populations. This includes workshops, content and individual coaching. Mickie understands the value of coaching and the role alumni engagement can play in the development of a life-long career plan and being an active part of the school that helped you along the way. In addition to her 15 years as a leader in the private sector, Mickie has also worked as a coach and consultant and has received coach certification from two different organizations, GiANT Worldwide and The Life Coach School. She has a passion for leadership and was recognized as an Achiever Under 40 as well as a member of both Valley Leadership and Leadership Oklahoma City. Mickie holds a B.B.A. from Fort Hays State University in Marketing and an M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University.

Miranda Milovich is an Assistant Director on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business partnering with full-time MBA students with concentrations in marketing, business analytics, and information management. Miranda has worked at ASU since 2016. Prior to her current role, Miranda supported engineering students as an academic advisor and international students as a student services coordinator. Miranda has presented on topics related to career success and professional development at national and regional conferences and has participated in speaking engagements reaching professionals across ASU campuses and the United States. Olivia Del Viscio is a Career Coach on the Career Management team at W. P. Taylor Ducklow
Business Operations Specialist

Taylor Ducklow is the Business Operations Specialist for The W.P. Carey School of Business Career Management and Employer Engagement team, where she leads the student worker team and oversees all day-to-day business operations. She knowns first hand that finding a career that not only excites you, but fits into your lifestyle and dreams, can be tricky, and that is why she believes that having equitable access to career guidance is essential to any student experience. Having worked in non-profit, public service, and private industries, Taylor has over ten years of experience leading teams and improving communications systems, including managing large-scale fundraising and training projects. Projects Taylor has co-led include the 2020 Marshalls SWAZ District JDRF Campaign, the 1st Annual 2018 TASC Game-A-Thon, and the 2016 Tucson Slutwalk. She is a writer, a member of Tucson Women in Business, and is certified in Intermediate Motivational Interviewing, Restorative Justice Circles Training, and Domestic & Sexual Violence Prevention. Additionally, Taylor holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and is working to pursue a Masters of Counseling.

Triné Nelson is the Curriculum Manager on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business with a specific focus of designing and administrating the Career Navigation Program for all undergraduate students, as well as administering the specialized masters courses. Triné believes that designing foundational career content will enhance students’ professional development and allow career coaches to execute a tailored program for their portfolios of students. Triné has over 15 years’ experience in career services and was awarded the Certified Professional Resume Writer designation from the Professional Association of Resume Writers. Triné holds a B.S. in Family and Human Development from Utah State University and an M. Ed. Learning Design and Technologies from Arizona State University.

Suzanne Sanchez is an Assistant Director on the Career Management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with full-time MBA students studying Supply Chain.
