Christine De La Cerda is an assistant director in on the career management team in the W. P. Carey School of Business. She is a career coach for the Full-time MBA Marketing, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Information Management students. Christine knows the value of finding a career path that brings passion and excitement and continually helps an individual grow. This value drives her passion for connecting students with their perfect landing spot where they will thrive. She desires to see that lightbulb moment when every click for the person she works with that career search.
Christine has worked at Arizona State University for over nine years in a few different roles, but none more fulfilling as the career space and supporting the Full-time MBA students. She is an ASU alumna working toward her Master of Arts in communication.
Christine received a fantastic honor in 2022 when she received a Graduate College Award of Excellence: Supporting Student Success. She desires always to help students feel welcome and at home while pursuing their dreams. She is trained as an Emerging Supervisor, Dares to Lead and Career Launch, and has a Training Certificate from the Association for Talent Development.

Claudia Enriquez is an assistant director on the career management team, specifically partnering with W. P. Carey School of Business alumni. She has twelve years of experience in higher education, working with domestic and international students and alumni in English and Spanish. She is committed to partnering with alumni on their career management journeys by developing strategies, required skills, experiences, and tools to pursue their professional objectives. Claudia has vast global acumen, having worked in management in four different countries . She is recently focused on creating and executing the strategy of delivering a career management program to this population. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from ITAM in Mexico and an MBA from the University of Arizona.
Margaret Odhner
Associate Director, MBA & Working Professionals
Margaret Odhner is an associate director on the career management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically leading the MBA student-facing team. Margaret has experience partnering with students at all educational levels, but most specifically has expertise working with those re-engaging in their career management process as they develop their new job-search strategy, conduct market research, and prepare for their next roles. Margaret believes that the work she does to prepare students in their career decision making impacts the actions they take for the next steps in their professional career. Margaret is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Associate Counselor and in addition to working at W. P. Carey for the past 5.5 years, has experience in the Healthcare industry focused on client relationships and managing documentation compliance for state funded programs. Margaret received her Bachelor of Science in psychology and family and human development from the University of Arizona and Masters of Counseling from Arizona State University.
Samuel Edgeston
Samuel Edgeston is an assistant director on the career management team at the W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with full-time MBA students. Samuel has over 17 years of experience in career development and business leadership, organizational development, and academia. He has held various leadership roles in Arizona and Tennessee universities. Samuel has also provided services as a Licensed Professional Coach-Counselor, Board Certified Business Coach, and a professional business mediator. In addition to teaching, he has served as an executive, corporate, leadership, and business coach and consultant in Arizona. As a professional, Samuel is an adamant supporter for proactive development studies, focusing on business, management, leadership, consulting and organizational technology efficacy. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Freed-Hardeman University, a master’s degree in professional counseling and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Georgia School of Psychology and Argosy University
Suzanne Sanchez
Career Coach: Full-Time MBA
Suzanne Sanchez is a sr. assistant director on the career management team at W. P. Carey School of Business, specifically partnering with full-time MBA students studying Supply Chain. Suzanne believes in supporting her students by coaching them to develop key skills and confidence so it turns into actionable success. Suzanne enjoys staying current with industry trends by strategically subscribing to newsletters, podcasts and listening to e-books. Suzanne is passionate about edtech and what the convergence of technology and education will look like for future learners. Driven by this interest, prior to joining ASU, Suzanne worked at Singularity University and was exposed to future technologies that are disrupting a multitude of industries. Additionally Suzanne has 9 years of experience in higher education across enrollment, academics and success coaching. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in international business from San Diego State University and an MBA in international business from Western International University. Suzanne also holds certificates in: Global Corporate Social Responsibility, Oil and Gas Management, HR Total Rewards, Supply Chain Management, and Exponential Thinking.
Trine Nelson
Director, Career Management
Triné Nelson is the Director of Career Management at the W. P. Carey School of Business, with a specific focus on supporting the teams serving our undergraduate, specialized masters, and MBA students. In her time at W. P. Carey, Triné was instrumental in mapping out the undergraduate journey to implement a targeted series of career courses to increase the career capabilities of students as they prepare to enter the market. She believes that designing foundational career content will enhance students’ professional development and allow career coaches to execute a tailored program for their portfolios of students. Triné has almost 20 years’ experience in career services and was awarded the Certified Professional Resume Writer designation from the Professional Association of Resume Writers. Triné holds a Bachelor of Science in family and human development from Utah State University and an Master of Education in learning design and technologies from Arizona State University.
