JOB SUMMARY

The Data Analyst intern is a member of the pricing analytics team, developing pricing models and tools to enable the business to make data-driven pricing decisions. The responsibilities include pricing data management, visualization/analytical tool and methodology development, tool maintenance, impact measurement, and developing/enhancing machine learning models for established and new product pricing recommendations. Job Responsibilities
· Design, develop and maintain data science products, PowerBI visualizations, and dynamic ad-hoc frameworks that help commercial teams with day to day pricing and sales activity
· Self-starter with continuous improvement mindset
· Translate complex business problems into concrete analysis that help drive actions
· Write optimized code improving efficiency, scalability, and stability
Requirements for this position include:
· Rising Junior/Senior in a Bachelor’s program or completed first year of Master’s program in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
· Coursework or internships with exposure to statistical programming and analysis methodologies
· Experience with data visualization and data processing tools (e.g., PowerBI, Python/R)
· Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and accurate usage, etc.) and experience with applications
STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Able to complete an internship in the summer (May/June-August 2024)
- Must be geographically flexible to relocate to ADM sites
- Preferred GPA of 2.8 or greater
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to function effectively, both independently and with a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organizationADM requires the successful completion of a background check Rising Junior/Senior

INTERNSHIP DETAILS
- Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration
- Based in Erlanger, KY
- Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work
- Interns who demonstrate high potential and engagement may be offered another internship if still pursuing a degree, or a full-time position after graduation
- ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
