What the job involves:
The Account Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of tasks within a team environment. This person is charged with effective daily support, administration, and communications of the real estate account. The Account Coordinator directly executes the financial and administrative aspects of projects throughout the account, assists in Occupancy audits/reporting and helps with communication support. In addition, the Account Coordinator is also responsible for various tasks in support of the entire account platform. Additional activities included but not limited to: data quality revisions, Occupancy coordination, ad-hoc and static reporting internal to the account team, process improvement, team document and template management, and account communications.
As an Account Coordinator Intern at JLL, you will:
Project Support
- Project accounting including use of accounting systems and various databases
- Entry and maintenance of budgets, purchase orders, and change orders
- Verification of general contractors pay applications for completeness and adherence to contract terms and conditions
- Process invoices
- Vendor aging management
- Systems support, including trouble shooting and issue resolution
CAFM / FMS Support
- Data quality reports and corrections
- Occupancy Audit packets and coordination
- Move uploads into FMS for projects and audits
- Space type updates based on audits
Planning
- Assist in reports and data gathering
Communications:
- Team document and template management
- Drive content and PPT creation for Account Team calls (Account team, PM team, Training calls)
- Account email communication
Additional:
- Other responsibilities related to the job directly asked by the supervisor
Program Details

Education, Skills, and Experience
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring Accounting, Business or a construction related field is desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think and work independently
- Ability to work with multiple people on a variety of differing projects and meet assigned deadlines
- Desire to learn more about our industry
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Commercial Real Estate.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with little direction
- Team player with a desire to help others
